I am very thankful to Dr Lai and team for their help with my hand injury throughout my treatment. Dr Lai originally came to the emergency room late Friday night to help with a surgical complication from elsewhere and during a year of treatment and follow-up, professionally and empathetically helped my hand to the best possible condition. Throughout the whole treatment chain I felt safe and confident in the treatment, even though I am an expact from elsewhere and was initially a little scared about surgeries and anaesthesias abroad after getting used to the Nordic system, but I never had to worry once and Dr Lai was a very very skilled surgeon and also super attentive and empathic throughout the treatment. In addition to professionalism and precise care, Dr Lai was always patient, supportive and very clear about the treatment process and I could not have imagined receiving more help and support. I am very thankful for the care and support I received; the whole treatment process felt much easier and lighter thanks to the encounters with Dr Lai and the team. Communication was always super easy, appointment slots were very flexible and I was able to ask questions about everything, Dr Lai turned over every stone to help me get my hand in the best possible condition and although I was sometimes a little impatient myself, Dr Lai and his team always treated me with care, consideration and empathy. The clinic was always a pleasure to go to. Dr Lai and the staff are also super nice and fun and in addition to the professional treatment, they were a pleasure to talk with, which made the process more pleasant than I thought injury treatment could be.Thank you so much for helping and making my year much better what it would have been without your team!!!❤️❤️❤️

Visited Dr Lai through a referral for a lump on my left wrist. He diagnosed it as a benign cyst but advised to remove it. The process from diagnosis to operation was quick and hassle free. Dr Lai and Hui Ying was also very friendly throughout the entire process.
I had a confounding hand situation which could have been cubital tunnel syndrome carpel tunnel syndrome and/or guyon canal syndrome.Thanks to Dr Jen for his patient and thorough investigation and diagnosis!Through time, medication and exercises, there was a marked improvement in the hand condition.
Tore a ligament in my thumb and was advised by a different specialist elsewhere to go for surgery. Came to CHARMS on a whim for a second opinion and Claire was wonderful every step of the way. I received very clear (printed! hardcopy!) rehab exercises, detailed explanations of why what was going on was going on, and all my questions were always patiently answered. I'm seen on time and don't recall ever having to wait.You know that this is a great environment when you see how every staff member there—doctor, hand therapist and receptionist—speaks to each other with mutual respect and lighthearted camaraderie. It's now four months later and because of them, I've dodged a surgery! TL;DR definitely recommend!
